I’ve mentioned this illustration before, but here it is in framed form. Available in my Society6 shop.
This past week while indulging in a day long journey of thrift stores and antique shops, I had some major scores. It’s been a long time since I had a day like that and it was awesome. I used to love spending hours combing through racks, but these days I honestly rarely have it in me. Between the over-picked racks and the often-times poor condition of the clothes – ugh (none of my major scores this week were clothing items, most were books and decor).
Luckily the vintage comeback of the last few years has inspired many a shop to come out with their own vintage inspired line. Recently ModCloth threw their name in the hat with their private label Myrtlewood. I’m loving the Mad Men era designs of the above dresses, and the coat with its voluminous bottom would look so adorable over an equally fluffy dress. The top below is exactly the kind of cut I am always buying these days, and in the color plum=perfect.
What are your favorite pieces? I’d love to head! PS: ModCloth has free US shipping on orders over $50. Score!

How perfect are these sheep slippers? You can never have too many pairs of feet-warming footwear here in Vermont, and these have just made my list.
Guess what! I’ve opened up a little web store in collaboration with a group of artists and makers. Think of it as an etsy shop of super high fab goods, curated by Estate. And to kick things off, you can use the promo code ‘welcome15’ for 15% off any order over $50 purchased in the next 10 days. Take a look at some of my favorite things…
The Gold Helix Ring which fits both criteria I have for rings – 1. simple and 2. makes a statement (I think I use those criteria for most things in my life).
The Crossover Clutch in Cobalt fits two more items on the life barometer – jewel tones and equal parts slouchy/structured.
This set of four Wine Cups are too pretty. Their color story and slightly geometric shapes might belong more on my alter space than in a kitchen cabinet (maybe a dual cabinet/alter open shelf?).
I’d love to hear what you think of everything! Visit the White Summer Collection to see the rest…
Amazingly cool clutch up in the shop right now. I’d keep it for myself but I’m more of an oversized tote kind of girl.
It ends tomorrow on eBay.
