S’mores cake in a mason jar. I know.
This is so clever, although I wonder how it looks in real life.
Found this set of note cards at my local bookstore to write letters to my grandparents. They’re perfect.

The latest song to be abused by my ‘repeat’ button.
I thought I’d share a family treasure that my great grandmother put together, some 25 years ago. It’s a heavy book with a 4 inch spine and holds the genealogical records of those on my mothers side (via her father). While she listed her sources (books from the library, manuscripts, etc), it’s always felt like a strange mystery to me. Kings and queens and and soldiers and greats are all listed. Could I really be related to them all? I think what it really means is we are all related to one another. Without giving away the most recent pages of our family tree, here are a few select pages I flipped to:
“She was an artful and wicked woman” has got to be my favorite entry in the book.
Do you have family records? Any pages worth sharing?
I love everything about this video.
